1 /5 Rachel: I came in with my mother’s engagement ring to be appraised and her wedding band to be reset and resized for myself to wear. Upon entering I could hear a woman on the phone, and from the tone of voice she was using I could already tell she was not happy. After inquiring about appraisals she explained that she was just so busy that she couldn’t help me. She was short, rude, and uninterested in my business. “Is it something you found?” She asked me irritatedly. I was appalled. No it was my dead mother’s priceless possession, and I will not be bringing my paying business back to this store. I understand you are busy and it’s near the holidays. It is not an excuse to be plain rude to someone who might want to spend money in your business. I would have gladly returned at another, more convenient time after the holiday. The woman I encountered needs additional employees to handle customer service or some sensitivity training for herself. Update: Abraxas Jewelry in the actual town of Ferndale were absolutely lovely to do business with. Definitely recommend them if you are looking to shop local.

1 /5 Faith Yakovleva: Had my watch resized there. Within a week of wear, the pin holding the band on fell out. She took it back to repair it. Months later, the watch still was sitting waiting on the bench for what she said would be a short job, and kept extending the estimate to handle the job. I took my valuables back and will find another business to repair her work.

5 /5 Kristina Nelson: The loveliest of owners, she was a pleasure to work with. I hadnt been able to wear my ring for over 10 years, it was broken, dirty, and out of size. She repaired it better than new, cleaned it, and another ring that I had brought with me, and had it back to me for the price that she quoted on the date that she stated. And outstanding honest, kind, and respectable jeweler. I wouldnt imagine going anywhere else

She has such love in what she does and her friendly smile and way of talking to her customers are the reason I keep going back to her. There are things that in business you can not teach and that is how to have passion for what do and customer service.

5 /5 Frank Nelson: My wife hadnt been able to wear her ring for 10 years. It was broke , dirty, and out of size. This shop went above and beyond to fix it, and in time and cost as promised. Best jeweler that I have ever dealt with. Outstanding. And what a kind and thoughtful owner. She was the icing on the cake.
