Mike Cap I was a 21st century customer from 1982 to 2003. About then Century decided to not renew any homeowners policy in the state of California. Son switched to Mercury for both. I have had to use my auto insurance a few times and even though the rates increased each time for a while I always was getting th best rates as I shop the rates every year. the service is of high quality especially with Ken Donaldsons employees. always helpful and kind. Wendy S If youre looking for home/condo insurance, I highly recommend you compare what this office quotes you with AAA Insurance. I was led to believe that its nearly impossible to get a home/condo policy in CA, which I dont doubt is true, depending on which insurance company youre dealing with. Without doing any comparison shopping, as Ive been with Farmers for years, I took their word for this. Yes, Farmers appears to be pulling out of CA. By working with them, to get a condo policy, I ended up with a very expensive and poorly administered 3rd party policy. When I initially purchased the policy, errors occurred that caused me to not be covered (which I was unaware of at the time, as no one at this office noticed me). This led to a lengthy reinstatement process that was stressful and time consuming. All difficulties Ive had with this policy are explained away as Im lucky to get anyone to provide me with condo insurance, so Im supposed to feel fortunate and put up with the extremely slow communication/customer service and high cost. Come to find out, AAA is not having these same issues. I recently did a price comparison for my auto policy, and discovered that they also offer seamless condo coverage at a very affordable price. I switched both my auto and condo insurance on the same day, 12/11. I notified Farmers and my auto was cancelled and reimbursed within the week (different agent, office). As for working with this office for the condo insurance cancellation, Im being told that as of 12/20, the 3rd party has not yet responded. As with everything else regarding this pain in the neck policy, I have no idea how long this will take. This has really been a terrible experience.

You can walk into their spacious professional office and immediately speak to Jamel, Sugan or Tasha in person, and theyll get started that moment on finding you a policy. Absolutely knowledgeable, deeply experienced, concerned, able to smoothly address and execute on our needs. And friendly. I asked lots of questions, and while they are a busy office, they always found time to educate me. Always answered the phone right away. And so nicely! Yup, they are pros. We couldnt have been happier with any insurance broker. Wish I had a way to recommend Freeman Insurance more highly. But alas, take my word. Youll really appreciate them, promise.
