I took a ring to get a verbal appraisal, and not only did the attendant look at it and give me a broad overview of my jewelry (based on a cursory inspection with no market research, of course), he also walked me through the decision process for whether I would want to pay for an in-depth appraisal. He took out his magnifier and showed me my gemstone at high magnification. It was above and beyond service from people who truly love and understand jewelry. This is the place to go if you want an honest opinion of how much your jewelry is worth. I will absolutely come back for future repairs, questions, and special order pieces.
