2 /5 Faye Hudson: Sadly my experience with Belltown, which started out great, turned out not to be so in the end. After learning my HOI company was leaving California, I reached out to get quotes for a new policy. Im sure they were busy, but I got zero response from the agent assigned to me (Dusty) until after 3 weeks and my 3rd attempt which included me saying that I was presuming they did not wish to retain me as a client. I finally got a response but even then everything was dragging on as the clock ticked. Im now 2 weeks away from losing my coverage and still dont have a policy. I decided to switch to a new insurance agency.

1 /5 Alli Urguby: Painful experience working with Belltown and Dusty. I have two email threads of 20+ emails back and forth to resolve several issues with the way my policies were written as well as changes that needed to be made including a change of policy type and mailing address. I tried to get ahead of issues and had to go through Dusty because the insurance company requires I go through the rep for changes. There was 10 day period of no response when I advised that my mortgagee sent mail advising that I had no insurance. I was assured that I did and it would be taken care of, only to find out that my policy lapsed for non-payment after I had submitted payment through Dusty over the phone. Too much time had gone by without me noticing because I received no notification and I thought everything was in order due to my detailed communication with Dusty. Needless to say that wasnt the case and I had to have the policy re-written with another insurance company at an increased cost. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Belltown.

I didn’t need just regular coverage either, I needed a whole sleu of “running a carnival” type insurance and they got it done for me with ease. Answered every question I had. I will always use and recommend them for business and personal needs. They are 5 star service in every aspect! Thanks Belltown.
