5 /5 Ben Riffey: I worked with Grace on refinancing my car-- I had a really great rate with WSECU to begin with, but we were able to lower it further. Both with the refi and the initial loan, everyone I worked with took the time to explain things to a first-timer. Today, I was confused by some of the paperwork I got on the refi (basically I didnt understand how the interest was presented, my bad), and despite panicking a bit, Grace very kindly explained how the structure worked when I came back in with questions. She made sure I understood it completely before processing. Very much appreciate her!! Wonderful to work with. Thank you! :)

1 /5 Congo Beat: I just moved here from AZ 2 months ago. Every time I have tried to use it his bank to deposit, it’s been an issue. This last time I was forced to use their “identification” process on my phone, but because I don’t look like my ID that was taken 20 years ago before all the truma started, I wasn’t able to DEPOSIT CASH into my account. I had the card, ID AND banking app open on my phone. So I’m going to find another bank before I’m ready to do so, and it will NOT be WSECU, I can assure u of that

2 /5 Mike: I tried to apply for membership online, and they said I had to come into the branch after calling the 1800 number to confirm. Ok thats fine, cant be too safe these days. Went in and after a small wait, went up to the teller line to provide my social security card and ID, per instructions from the 1800 number. Teller typed in to the computer for about 5 minutes it seemed and then stated "its about 25 minutes to closing and opening an account could take up to an hour". Having been in banking for over 17 years, I know every system is different, but an account opening process could take up to an hour, yes, if theres other loan applications or a complex account structure. I understand wanting to be thorough; however Ive worked for many institutions where the general rule of thumb is as long as the branch doors are open, then your full breadth of products and services are available as well. I stated I will be out of town the rest of the week, and the rebuttal was that Id have to schedule something with a banker, and perhaps with a branch with Saturday hours. I wanted to open an account to establish a relationship with the credit union, before pursuing a personal loan to help fund my upcoming wedding. Unfortunately, the lack of ownership and willingness to help has made that potential relationship with this credit union end before it began.

5 /5 F.: This review is not only for the Federal Way branch but also specifically for Grace. I have been with WSECU for over 10 years and have had nothing but outstanding customer service. From vehicle loans to recreational vehicle loans to HELOCs, they got us covered. I have worked personally with Grace throughout the years, and she has always been prompt, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. When my daughter became an adult and needed to refi her car and make a huge purchase, I knew Grace would take care of her; and that is exactly what she did. Every single transaction has been smooth, seamless, and timely. Whenever a need arises, Grace will always be my first choice!
