My bank account is once again not working! We got locked out of our account again this weekend forcing us to change our password again! Tonight I went to Costco to get groceries and dog food and my card was declined 3 times. I was mortified, so I tried to transfer money to my other debit card since I frequently have issues running this particular card. I attempted to transfer $100 three times and none of the times were successful, so, in front of everyone, I had to cancel my order and call the bank to figure out what is going on, Why is my debit card not working? Why cant I transfer money to another debit card? I was told that there were no declines on my card and he was unsure why I couldnt transfer but the card should work since there were no declines showing. I went to another cash register and AGAIN my card was declined. Everyone elses cards were working fine, so I doubt that it was Costco machine problem. Without being able to transfer I was $2 short of my order in my other checking account luckily I had $3 cash to reduce the order cost down to where my other account had enough money. So I gave that and tried to use my other debit card. AGAIN declined. I spent a total of 20 mins in utter embarrassment at Costco and ended up leaving without my groceries. I have no food to feeb my dogs dinner or breakfast, so they will have to go a full 24 hours without food until I can contact someone at the bank since there is no after hours help for emergencies like this, This is not the first time we have had issues, nor the 2nd, nor the 3rd, nor the 4th. Since opening accounts in December, it has been problem after problem never with any solution. Only being told well it should be working we understand why you are frustrated. Unfortunately with auto payment on bills set up and direct deposit from work set up it will take us two months at least to switch banks. In the mean time we cannot access our money at all on weekends or after 7:30 pm. Believe me I am telling EVERYONE I know not to bank with you. Every time I have card problems I am telling merchants who I dont even know not to bank with you.
