1 /5 Corey Salinas: I Do Not Recommend doing business with this bank.
My name is Corey and I have fantastic reviews and business relationships all over the country. I have been involved in brokering some very big deals. One of them happened to be the Line in Saudi Arabia, as well as Home Depot and Sunnova last year. This year I am looking at changing the sales industry once again, with some big things in a positive way.
My girlfriends family member knows one of the bank tellers and it was suggested I talk to either Bill Or David about different options for us to do business together.
I met with David who seemed like a real nice guy, we had a in length conversation about different options in regards to what it was I was offering in the discussion.
We talked about everything and I really liked David. But David had informed me we would need to talk with Bill to move things further. We worked out a date and 3 different times on Friday to meet my partners just to make sure everything went smoothly. I informed him on Thursday if I hadnāt heard anything yet that I would check in if I hadnāt heard back. Iām a professional so I understand the importance that a business deal only works when both parties meet.
On Thursday I hadnāt heard from them yet. So I called in the morning and afternoon. The bank tellers had told me Bill was gone and he would be back later.
Later I finally got a call from Bill and i was so excited to meet.
I introduced myself and then I told him I had spoken to David and things went really well. I had begun explaining some of the ways we could work together.
Thatās when Bill started cutting me off repeatedly, telling me is this about Solar?
I replied yes but Iām trying to help another bank get capital so they can remain in business. And we have a great business plan.
Bill without understanding the conversation kept making assumptions and believing I wanted his assistance for Solar Financing which I donāt need, I need capital there is a difference .
He then told me the reasons he wouldnāt work with me.
He said 1.) Itās Solar
He said 2.) You were very rude to my employees. And Btw David works for me so donāt bother calling him again.
Iām so confused as I was never rude, and we didnāt even get through the conversation. Not to mention one of the workers is a family member of my girlfriend so I wouldnāt do that.
But if Bill can prove I was rude to the employees Iāll gladly take this review down. After all there is cameras and the phone calls are recorded at the bank.
As it stands Bill is an incompetent CFO who shockingly doesnāt understand the value of business to business deals and how I could have helped a small town bank gain more money. How could this man be in charge of helping to decide who gets to do business when he canāt even see a golden goose in front of his own eyes? Who turns down a multi billion dollar deal? We had agreed to 3 million at a time and he doesnāt even understand the simplicity of flipping a note.
Most shocking of all when I spoke to David we seemed to get along perfectly, I even told him what a positive experience I had with the bank. And he said proudly that this was a community bank and that people were treated better than numbers here. After meeting David he told me my business deal was too big for this bank and that he would introduce me to his friends at other banks.
I told him I would be happy to help this bank and that we can work with the others as well, but that I would be happy to help this bank grow. We agreed to 3 million at a time.
You canāt always judge a book by its cover, I think before Bill spouts off with slander, lies, and misinformation a good idea would have been to let me plead my case, and to treat me fairly. I was fully prepared to introduce my party to him and David. I had prepared a slide show to go over a business overview and show them some of the high profile people we have working with us.
