Earnhardt: this company is awful. they have been repeatedly difficult, impossible to get a hold of, at all, and if u have/need an accommodation, they will not ever give you a copy of what you are approved for. Ever. After multiple attempts to receive such information. Just that u are "approved" good luck hope you dont break any of what we just approved you for, guess!
They deny your claim? All you get is a letter at 11pm at night saying - claim denied. Why? You dont get to know any specifics.
You call and try and get to the customer service dept to ask why? No one knows, youre on hold and transferred to 4 seperate people, and then you are likely lied to about 10 different information pieces on your claim. Bc when u call again to ask the same question, this new rep will give you a totally opposite answer to your request. Claim has an assigned rep? you will never ever speak to that person once, and you dont get to know their contact information. Ever. I will never ever ever work with the hartford willingly til I die. If my job works with the hartford, ill never apply. I hate that my job now uses them. They are killing me, genuinely, with the stress they have caused me, while i was trying to submit disability and medical emergency leaves. This insurance company doesnt care about the human being (ME) ever or at all. stay away and beware, and shame on you Hartford.
