1 /5 chris C: Asked for a quote for home insurance and they sent me a quote and asked me to sign if I wanted it. I never responded to them but they sent to mortgage company anyways. On third time speaking with them to try to get them to cancel the policy I never signed for.

1 /5 Lynne Lewis: Every experience I have had with this branch of American Family Insurance has been bad. During my time with the company the 3 times I have had to make changes to my policy errors have been made in the dates and amount that would be deducted for the premium. 2 times these errors have resulted in overdraft charges to me. The attitude of EVERY person I dealt with was very unsympathetic to my plight and no effort was made to apologize or make the situation better. Based on these experiences and a better price with another company I called my local office on March 24th 2017 to cancel my policies effective 12:01 3/25/17. I was assured that the change was made and I could expect a refund check within a week for the remaining 5 days already paid for. On 3/31/17 the premium of $132.11 was deducted from my bank account for the policy that had been canceled. I began a series of calls that day to rectify this and get a refund of the premium money that was taken out in error. Having just lost my job I explained to each of the 4 different people I spoke to that I really needed the money refunded as soon as possible. Four days and several calls later a supervisor in Madison WI tried to get the local office at 15711 Pacific Ave S in Tacoma to cut a check from their office and the home office would sent the refund amount to them. The local agency flat out refused. Connie in corporate billing is the first person in the company who has even tried to be solution oriented and she is sending a check overnight to me . I am extremely unhappy with way this error that the agency made has been handled and the TOTAL lack of customer service each person at the Dominic Batton agency has exhibited.I am only one small customer, however, I am sure I am NOT the first person that has been treated this way.
