1 /5 Heidi Jo Rigsby: Edit* I will have to edit this review since I cannot comment on their reply. Yes, Red Canoe. By all means provide your so-called documentation. You have my contact info. And I HAVE reached out regarding the errors and overdraft fees. Spent forever on the phone and got nowhere. More than once!! You talk a big game in your reply, but zero actions to back anything up. It’s merely to make you appear not at fault when you’re called out. Anyone reading this, pay close attention to how many one star reviews this place has (31/100 reviews). Better yet, read them. I wish I had before I opened accounts here again… Original review: I was charged an additional $300+ for my vehicle payment this month because my “deductible amounts were not within the limits”, despite having had full coverage for the entirety of the loan - and this same exact coverage. Nobody contacted me to make me aware or try to clarify. They just added CPI to the loan and refuse to make any adjustments to my account when I immediately adjusted my deductible. As soon as I can find somewhere to refinance at a decent rate, I will be doing so, as this is not the first issue I have had with this financial institution. Ridiculous fees, overdraft-happy (even when it’s their error), difficulty closing accounts, not friendly, and just overall not a good experience. I had banked here years ago and left for similar reasons. The only reason I came back was to purchase my car. I was hopeful, but if anything has changed, it’s only gotten worse. Credit Unions are supposed to be for the people. All this one wants to do is find every way feasible to take your money.

1 /5 John Reins: All of the branches have rude, awful tellers. The bank manager refused to get me her boss. Said they are probably busy, and she respects their time. Basically, telling me Im not important enough for her boss. Told me my transaction would take too long. Then told me she would let her boss know, and I would get a call back. Guess what? No call back at all! Rudest person ever, should not be a branch manager. Refused to forward my complaints or help. Looking into a new credit union to use. Would not recommend red canoe.

5 /5 Taylor Bryant: I have been using Red Canoe for both my business and personal banking for almost five years now, and I can confidently say that this bank provides the best service in every aspect. It truly enhances my experience knowing that all the tellers recognize me by name when I drive up to the drive-thru. This personal touch reinforces my belief that I made the right choice in selecting this bank.

1 /5 Cliff P: I was sent a letter informing me of an inactivity fee that would begin on an account. I called to cancel the account but the wait lines were extremely long. I opted to have them call back. Later, when they did, the CS agent asked for my account number which I did not have, as I was by this time traveling and on my cell. She said she needed my SS number and had no other way to look my account up. I told her I was uncomfortable giving her that number but against my better judgement I did. She then began asking me to verify other data such as date of birth, address etc., which had to already exist in my file. I am hoping my data has not been compromised... Our experience with Red Canou has not been good and this is not just sour grapes... Our credit rating is and has been excellent. Very disapointed with their customer service. We had a car loan with Red Canou, which we paid off long ago. We would strongly recomend going somewhere else.
