2 /5 Seattle Girl: We too were locked into REITs and Annuities that made the company quite a bit of money but either flat lined or lost value. We had been handed off from Mr. Linde and at least two other advisors over time. Each one seemed to have to start over from scratch to learn about us and our investments in and outside of Ameriprise.

1 /5 Bob Piorkowski: As our advisor in 2010, Mr. Linde strongly suggested a REIT that he predicted would likely be dissolved in a few years but was a safer investment that would pay a dividend and appreciate in value. I have lost over 60% to date in the otherwise rising REIT Market and I cant get out. As uneducated as I am, all my own investment choices did much better.

1 /5 Malaika ORourke: I concur with the other reviewers. I used Randy briefly, after my neighbors recommended him. My account was quickly assigned to an inexperienced associate and a number of investments classified as low risk lost money. I closed the account after a year and moved to Vanguard. Since then, my investments have performed well, keeping pace with the overall market. I was locked in one REIT with Ameriprise that has since dropped 50%. I would strongly recommend staying away from this firm.
