1 /5 Danielle Brunner L.Ac.: Debi was highly recommended by a colleague & I’ve used her for the last year. I was warned about her attitude & abrupt behavior prior to working with her. One of the most important aspects of having a bookkeeper is good communication. I can’t emphasize enough how incredibly abusive this woman behaves. ALL CAP EMAILS WITH !!!! was too much for me. She gave misinformation tooting her horn several times about how she’s an “accountant” but “doesn’t do that work anymore”. Threatens often putting you in fear mode of IRS audit. Egotistical & very arrogant. It became a joke with my friends about my abusive bookkeeper. The last straw was when I checked her info with my CPA & he confirmed I was correct. She nickels & dimes you for every fricking question. Messed up on payroll by overpaying my employee by $200 yet NEVER takes responsibility. She dropped me (before I fired her) 2 days before payroll. No biggie when QB is so much more responsive, can do payroll & saves you money in the end. Like my CPA & colleague says, no matter what happened, you don’t overcharge & under deliver & drop your client prior to payroll. Debi is irresponsible & old school. It’s 2019. Automation can clearly do her job for 1/3 of the cost.
