5 /5 Hannah Bircher: Nobody looks forward to needing an attorney. However, I’m deeply grateful several law enforcement recommended Purcell. I started with Brandon- was so thankful for him. When Brandon moved on to be a commissioner, Matt graciously picked up my case. Cassidy was the paralegal I communicated with over the 2 year span of my case. I’ve interacted with the office on many occasions. The amount of patience, efficiency, blunt honesty, and care that has been shown to me here made me feel like there is nowhere better to go. I wish my circumstances had been different and I had not needed a lawyer, but I have zero regrets trusting Purcell to handle my need, act honestly, and not express any judgement over what was a sad and uncomfortable divorce experience. My father was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer during my divorce and passed away 3 months later. Both when my dad was diagnosed and when he passed, Matt called expressing sincere care. While I’ve paid and borrowed a lot of money to utilize Purcell, I can’t overstate that I’m glad I did.

1 /5 S Richardson: If you are looking for representation from someone who lies, cheats and has no integrity or ethical standards, Matt Purcell is your man. He plays dirty and will sink to the lowest of low levels. On one instance, Matt contacted me the morning before a response declaration was due and instructed me to submit fake documentation so that he could change our position and present a completely false argument to the courts. I was extremely uncomfortable doing so and it ended up backfiring, as I looked like a liar before the courts. I should not have been surprised-- Matt lied numerous times in court and said things that he knew to be untrue, which also backfired on me as he could not keep his lies straight and ended up contradicting himself time and time again. The declarations that he and his staff wrote on my behalf contradicted themselves so many times, it was embarrassing to go before the courts. He constantly encouraged me to file bogus and unsubstantiated contempt motions against my ex, which was nothing but a complete waste of my money, stress and time. He also billed me for a court appearance that never occurred and heavily padded each bill in general-- claiming that an excessive amount of phone calls, emails and court preparations that could not have possibly been necessary or taken place occurred. Purcell volunteered to write up the court findings/rulings, mutual documents and other agreements between parties every time. At first I thought this was great, but later discovered that this was just another one his ploys to rack up excess charges on my behalf and that ethically, the other party and their attorney should have shared in those responsibilities and costs. Be forewarned and dont walk, RUN away from Matt Purcell and Purcell Law.
