5 /5 Mike: I met John under some crazy circumstances. I am a full-time single father of two daughters, so when this disaster struck, it needed immediate attention. To compound this disaster, I had to find an attorney over the Labor Day Weekend. I had received a referral for John and made the call. While he didnt answer and I left a voicemail, John almost immediately called me back. He listened. Now, a single father of daughters is going to have some crazy story about how that happened. I have had a few attorneys that just want you to answer their questions and pretty much leave them alone. When an attorney listens, it makes you feel heard, understood, validated, and at ease. He told me he would take on my case, and we went from there. Attorneys often have to "handle" their clients. It is almost just as much work as all of the legal stuff. John took my calls when I was freaking out, answered my questions in a very point-blank way (which I loved), and brought me back down from a major anxiety attack.
