I had a plumbing breakage and a large section of flooring in my home was ruined. American Family restored everything to the original standard, and even hosted me at a hotel during the worst of it while the work was going on. They kept the process moving forward (so I didnt have to), checked in with me frequently, and treated me with great regard and exceptional service every step of the way. As friends heard about the flooding, every one seemed to have an insurance claim "horror story" to recount, and were astounded to hear about how different my American Family claims experience was from theirs. (Especially at competitive rates) Paul Spencer and Heather Baer have helped me navigate coverage choices and secure great rates through the years. They reach out whenever new saving programs or options become available - for example just this week they started a discount for downloading a driving app on my phone. Best service, nicest people, great value.

5 /5 Sticks Journals: Paul Spencer has a lot of patience! He continued to email me over a three day period because I kept coming up with more questions than he probably receives from several people! He even provided me with a compliment that he appreciated my inquiries. Staff is always very courteous when you call and Paul was able to reduce my rates to save hundreds of dollars! After 15 years with AmFam Im still a satisfied customer! Highly recommend!

1 /5 Hunter Benton: Pauls staff were the only ones in and said they werent sure how to use the systems because theyre new. They took several hours trying to call him and fighting their computer system in the background. They reached the end of the work day and said theyd call me and finish tomorrow. The next day they call me in the afternoon and say that they had my situation wrong and tried to price gouge me for double the monthly price on the same coverage. I told them I dont see any other option with whats given to me but to shop around. I contacted Esurance and their offer was 60% cheaper than Pauls.
