5 /5 Penny Cory: When we were married over 25 years ago, I was aware that the terms of my husbands divorce from his ex had provisions for a lifetime commitment to retain a life insurance policy to protect her from loss of income from his retirement, should he die before her. He has kept that commitment for 25+ years. As it has turned out, we all have lived beyond normal life expectancy, and the policy that has been in effect, is expiring, and he has become uninsurable except for a very few Insurance Companys, whose rates, if paid, would reduce his income to below poverty level. After calling some legal firms, who said we were "stuck", I talked to my brother, who was going through a divorce, and he suggested we call Pacific Northwest Family Law. When we called, the reception was very different!! We explained our situation and soon were introduced to Ms. Green, who understood and undertook the task of researching and developing a solution. Our case is still in process, and we feel confident that the outcome is going to be a much better circumstance than what we were facing.
