1 /5 Brian Adams: Went to the urgent care (run by OMC) with flu like symptoms. Billed $635 for a covid and flu test! How much in government funding did they receive during the pandemic?

1 /5 Eileen G.: This is the slowest and most frustrating medical billing office of any business I have ever dealt with. The bill is supposed to be sent to me in the mail, but it always shows up on the home page of Mychart. I have called the medicale billing there, if Im lucky someone will answer and then even tho they tell me the bill is coming the next week, it takes much longer to arrive. When it does, I immediately send the check with the invoice, but it is more than a month before the check is cashed, with the same billing reminder on mychart the whole time. Even after it is cashed it takes weeks before it shows as paid.There should be a physical office in the hospital to just bring in the payment.

I cashed it as I’ve not done business with OMC for several years (I try to avoid it at all costs because it’s so often chaotic and unhelpful) and now 2 months later I have a $250 bill with no explanation. I haven’t actually RECEIVED a bill, it just shows up in my MyChart which I can’t get to actually load any details due to a ‘server error’. I tried calling to talk to a human and only after listening to multiple prerecorded messages did it finally inform me they are closed for a staff meeting. It left no option to leave a message, just ends the call. Every time I do business with OMC I feel like I’m left chasing errors and it’s deeply frustrating.
