5 /5 Thinking4 myself2day: Today Anacortes branch asst manager called...closed my checking acct/ debit card. I am relocating out of state,to help a longtime friend. She wired money to pay movers the pick up fee, then she wired misc money to help with cross country drive. Bank refused to give me last wire, said it was fraudulent. So, now I am out of my
rental in car with animals and uhaul trailer without gas cash and a closed acct. 2 days into cross country drive, asst manager calls from Anacortes
Herritage branch, i am being investigated for fraudulent activity etc. I asked to speak with manager told she would call me. Manager, had serious attitude- said I was a criminal, with criminal associates and activities Shown by report from fraud department, I even had a po box! I loved this bank, but the ignorance and lack of professionalism is intolerable. IAvoid this bank, they dont care about you as a customer at all. Liz, Anacortes branch manager is totally lacking in professionalism and quick in personal judgements. After relocating, my friend and i visied her bank manager who felt that this was all on Heritage Bank. This credit union manager, Lynn even offered to call Heritages fraud department to help explain the wire transfers were jmoving expenses. Seriously DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BANK! Fraud department told me I could keep account and they were unsure what happened, but no apology ever. Truly a dismal experience.
