My son was caught in the devastation of drug addiction leading to the loss of life of a person dear to him. My son chose to take his case to trial. Mr. Vander Sys represented my son; he was our hope. We could not have been more pleased. Mr. Vander Sys has an excellent/expert understanding of law, demonstrates preparedness, and court room confidence. The prosecution provided many, “expert witnesses,” to testify during court. Mr. Vander Sys’s skill to cross examine each expert witness proved valuable. Mr. Vander Sys’ closing arguments were impact and meaningful. The jury ultimately found my son, “Not Guilty.” During this entire process he kept us informed. I highly recommend Mr. Vander Sys.
