1 /5 Sandy Brown: I was scammed by Steven. I had a home built 20 years ago, Farmers covered me during construction and for the 20 years following. My insurance policy went up $1300 in one year. Steven suggested I spend 2 hours with him on a new policy to save money. It didn’t, so now I don’t have my old policy which had different consumer protections. He told me he didn’t know my custom use board and batten and that is more expensive to insure. So he basically did no research on my home (even though I had to submit all my building details). His next suggestion was for me to raise my deductible…so I can be broke when a disaster happens? In 20 years I haven’t submitted a single claim. This guy is not trustworthy.
