What actually happened was I crossed the threshold into House of Gems and was immediately spiritually cleansed by the positive energy radiating from a 30-pound amethyst cathedral that might be sentient. This place is like if a science museum and a wizard’s treasure trove had a baby and that baby grew up to sell ethically sourced crystals, dino fossils, and meteorites with personality. I left with a huge amethyst! If you’re in downtown McKinney and don’t stop by House of Gems, you’re robbing your soul of some truly sparkly healing. Great gift shop!
