1 /5 T-Boys: I have been a customer for 6 years (with 4 vehicles) but this visit will be my very last.
After my oil change, my beige cloth seats had oil on them. I pointed it out and they attempted to clean it but I’ll have the added expense of buying my own products to do a proper job. Secondly, they attempted to open behind my glove box to get to a filter out but couldn’t. While I don’t have a problem with that, they couldn’t assemble the parts together to fit properly. So now I have a gap on the side of my glovebox. They couldn’t fix that either.
Run people run! I’d rather drive further to have peace of mind.
Update: My husband insisted I return to them to have them clean my seats further. It was a lot better but we will still have to do our own cleaning to get it to our standard.
The glove box couldn’t be changed as I was told it is supposed to be like that.
The oil marks on my seats was the last straw. I will unfortunately take my business elsewhere.
Update: we went to Jiffy Lube in Kaufman for our next oil change. The picture below is of the filter Jiffy Lube removed. My guess is that since Valvoline Express had such trouble putting a filter in below the glove box area, they just stuffed it in. I’m so happy we have an alternative place to go to in Kaufman now.
