5 /5 Michael Novak: I don’t write reviews but after visiting here, and its sister store two blocks, away I had to. I went here to look for a meteorite for my wife for Christmas. I did not have a big budget. The shop was filled with wonderful fossils, gemstones, minerals, etc. Having my five-year old daughter there made me very nervous. However, despite me being shabbily dressed, on a small budget, and with a child in tow, the owner was AMAZING. I was able to find what I was looking for at the sister store “Rock & Gem”? Look for the Mosasaur skull in the window and you can’t miss it. More importantly, the owner asked if my daughter liked rocks and I said yes. She immediately took my daughter to a closed case. She opened the case and let my daughter pick out and hold a Megalodon tooth that I couldn’t afford. She then had her touch a museum quality near complete small fossilized dinosaur. Guarantee that fossil was worth more than my car. In the end, I got a meteorite my wife will cherish (she’s into astronomy) and the owner gave my daughter and I a memory together that will last. The memory was free of charge and will be cherished.
