3 /5 RONDA ANDERSON: I visited the TC location never had a problem, except the last 2 times with a teller named MikeishaTurner. Her attitude for both interactions SUCKED. Thought maybe she was just having a bad day the first time. But round 2 was worse, especially since I had my dad with me. He said some people dont like their jobs I guess. So lets just get this done and go, so we did. I wont deal with her again if another teller isnt available Ill go to a different location. This location is close to my dad thats why we went there.

1 /5 D Ellis: We’ve banked with Texas First Bank for over 3+ years and they make you feel like a criminal any time you try and withdraw your own money or cash a check! At first I brushed it off but it’s become more and more uncomfortable and apparent each time we have to interact with then that we’re blatantly being discriminated against. If you want to be treated like a suspect and second class citizen for trying to cash a check or withdraw money from your account that rightfully belongs to you - bank here if not save yourself some time, dignity and bank elsewhere!!! In 2025 no one should experience this! Especially not a hardworking working paying citizen!

2 /5 Deb: I have banked with Texas First for at least 10 years or longer they usually are pretty decent when it comes to issues with my account but I got scammed about a month ago I got talked into moving my money out of my account and into another account then the scammers hung up on me I reported it Texas first took the report they acted the whole time like it was not a big deal the scammer took all my money out my account I was left broke it was a big deal to me I’m still in a bind behind the scam anyway I left and Texas first never let me know nothing about what was going on after about a week I had to go up to the bank to find out that I was denied my money back the bank gave me a number to call I called it they told me a supervisor would get back to me no phone call I called the number again that was 2 weeks ago still no phone call from a supervisor I’m sorry but I feel like this was swept under the rug 700 dollars might not seem a lot to soon people but it was a lot to me I’m sorry but when your personally not on the phone with the scammer then you cannot determine the outcome of a scamming situation the scammers are really good and did what they do and got what they were after which was my money I don’t think it’s fair that you said that since I moved my money to an outside account that determined that my money is not refund I’m going to the news because I’m seeing people’s money refunded all the time In the same situations

Our recent interaction with Texas First Bank - Houston and their so-called Banking Center “President,” Donald, was nothing short of appalling. What we expected to be a professional and straightforward experience turned into a display of incompetence and dismissiveness that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. From the moment we began our dealings, it was clear that Donald was more interested in preserving his ego than in addressing our needs. Donald’s attitude set the tone for an experience that was not only unprofessional but also unnecessarily stressful. I wouldn’t recommend Texas First Bank to anyone looking for a reliable, respectful, and competent financial institution. With leaders like Donald at the helm, it’s clear this bank values neither their clients nor their reputation.

5 /5 Emily Evans: Every employee at the Texas City branch has been very kind and considerate, but Summer is amazing! She goes above and beyond for my aging father, 83 years old and with dementia. She helps me review his account and lets me know if there is suspicious activity. She also lets me know if he is acting a bit out of sorts. This is incredibly valuable to me as I am not able to care for his daily needs. She deserves a million gold stars in my book. Thank you, Summer!
