1 /5 Arkan Alkarkoukly: I am compelled to share my profoundly negative experience with Robert Elander, an insurance agent who has demonstrated an astonishing lack of professionalism and integrity throughout my dealings with him. My interaction with him has left me frustrated, financially burdened, and considering legal action. In 2020, I engaged Robert Elanders services for apartment insurance. When the lease on my apartment concluded in August 2021, I promptly contacted Mr. Elander to cancel the insurance policy. He assured me that the cancellation had been processed. However, to my dismay, this turned out to be a blatant lie. After two years of being unknowingly charged, I discovered that the insurance policy was never canceled. When I confronted Mr. Elander about this deception, he acknowledged the error but refused to take responsibility. Instead, he instructed me to contact Allstate Insurance directly for a refund. Despite numerous attempts to rectify the situation with Allstate, the company insists that only Mr. Elander can resolve the issue. This has resulted in a frustrating and seemingly endless cycle of blame-shifting between Robert Elander and Allstate Insurance. To make matters worse, when I contacted Mr. Elander to demand a resolution, he callously informed me that he could no longer assist me and that I should continue pursuing the matter with Allstate. This irresponsible behavior is not only unprofessional but also indicative of a severe lack of accountability. Given the egregious mishandling of my insurance policy and the subsequent evasion of responsibility, I have decided to take legal action against Robert Elander and Allstate Insurance to seek redress for the financial harm caused by their negligence. In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering insurance services to steer clear of Robert Elander and Allstate Insurance. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I hope that sharing my story will prevent others from falling victim to their unscrupulous practices.
