The branch manager, Jasmyn Sullivan, was rude, condescending, and completely unhelpful. She made no effort to communicate clearly, was vague and evasive about the loan terms, and to make matters worse, misrepresented information that later turned out to be false.
It felt like I was being led in circles deliberately.
After leaving the branch confused and frustrated, I escalated the situation to corporate. I was then informed that I had actually been approved for the loan — something the local branch never clearly communicated. However, there was a catch: the loan had to be used through a list of “approved retailers.”
When I asked for the list of these so-called approved businesses, I was told that the information was confidential. Confidential? For a loan I was already approved for? That makes no sense whatsoever. I asked them point blank: “Why would you hide that information from me? Wouldn’t your approved retailers benefit from actually getting a commission if I used their services?” No straight answer. Just more evasion.
The whole process felt shady and manipulative. It raised serious red flags about the integrity of not just the Round Rock branch, but the company’s business practices as a whole. What should’ve been a simple loan inquiry turned into a bureaucratic nightmare full of misdirection, unprofessional behavior, and borderline deception.
Save yourself the time, energy, and frustration — take your business elsewhere. This place is not worth the headache.
