Bank of America Financial Center - Galveston (TX)

5 /5 Maria Korzan: I needed a notary service so I called to see if there was one on site. I was told that I needed an appointment for that which to me was odd because I am a notary and I work at a local bank in New Mexico and we dont require an appointment, but I also thought that not all banks are the same. I got my appointment and I needed to head to MD Anderson to see a cancer doctor. So we went an hour early to the bank to see if they could see me. The lady that checked us in was so nice and helpful, I was there for 15 minutes and didnt have to wait till 1 for my appointment. they accommodated us and did us a favor. Thank you for your understanding that I needed a service and I needed it quick.

1 /5 Alizardo Arriola: It is unfortunate that a customer is treated in that way today 12/20/24 I had a bad experience at this bank. I have had my account at this bank for several years and they have always given me good service, but today unfortunately I visited because I needed help with my mobile account. When I entered, there was no one receiving customers. I decided to sit down to wait for help but I saw that they were just walking from side to side. After 25 to 30 minutes of waiting, an employee approached me who said her name was Stefany because she did not even wear a badge to identify her. She had a terrible attitude, telling me that I had to report to the cashiers. But why make me wait so long if she saw me sitting there several times and did not inform me that I had to register, but she really spoke to me in an unprofessional manner if they are there to serve customers.

5 /5 David Lindblom: Its the only BofA on the island, stays busy enough but not too busy. Setting an appointment is a great " plan ahead" idea and online makes that easy. Thanks for making banking easy.

1 /5 G L: Horrible customer service. I waited 40 min. just to be denied service. I need it a notary and I was told by the rep that per policy, they couldnt notarize a non account holder. The form was for me and I just needed a signature from the other person. I showed the document to the lady standing at the help desk and she did not mention anything at all. Although, she knew I was short of time since I was on my lunch break. A simple explanation since the beginning wouldve had made such a difference. At the end, I was just sent across the street to the Mail Room. I couldve done that since the very beginning of my interaction with the staff. The Galveston branch lacks customer service etiquette and is clearly poorly staffed. Never again I will be dealing with such a ridiculous place.
