Mid-Tex Federal Credit Union - Brownwood (TX)

2 /5 Brandy Mills: I really love all the ladies that work at Mid-tex, so it hurts me to write a negative review, but their policies and systems are just so outdated and expensive. The PopMoney system needs to be removed from the member area because Mid-Tex has no control over it and it is a horribly reviewed system that charges insanely high fees and is confusing to use. Aside from the wonderful gals that work there, my experience with Mid-Tex as a financial institution in the past has just been horrible. When my checks were stolen, it took me forever just to get half of the overdraft fees waived. Ive done better with big banks than I have with Mid-Tex. Its sad because they have a great staff.

5 /5 Hendrik van der Merwe: I find the staff at Mid Tex not only very friendly, but also professional. I honestly like dealing with Credit Unions more than banks. Credit Unions (most of them and that includes Mid TX) do not just treat you with respect, and in a professional manner, they kind of make you feel "at home" and as if you are part of the family! I would recommend them to any-one, even my wife - LOL.

3 /5 Ronda Childers: The people are friendly and helpful but the app isn’t great. If you use your Face ID to get into the app, eventually you will be locked out and have to change the password and security questions. My husband or I have this problem every 2-3 months. I suggest not using Face ID because the app has a HUGE problem with it!!!!

2 /5 Amanda Caperton: I personally like going inside better than the drive through. The employees inside are nice and generous. The drive through, specially (Bailey) isnt very nice and even though I was the only person in the drive through she acts as though her job is annoying and her attitude isnt very welcoming. Pretty rude. She acts as if she dislikes her job.

1 /5 Miguel Hernandez: I’ve been banking here for years and this is the worst bank ever. I work out of state and and am about to leave back to Utah, with my debit card about to go up I asked if I could get it a little early and they want to charge me. I may not be home to receive it, I always have issues with this bank I’m so over it.
