Hempkins Insurance - Denison (TX)

1 /5 Josh Black: Have had insurance through Hempkins for 2 years anytime around renewal I would call wanting to talk to someone about finding a cheaper plan that would fit my needs and be greeted by the phone operator stating “we’re constantly working to find better rates and deals for our customers someone will get with you” take my info down and days, weeks go by nothing not a word from anyone. That’s weird cause i called twice and was told someone would be reaching out and also emailing me potential plans never even got anyone on the phone beside the lady at the desk. I ended up not renewing my insurance and to have it canceled on the renewal date and went with a different agent who apparently has the desire to assist me. I sure did receive an email from them once they heard i wasn’t renewing my insurance though.

1 /5 Jered Markos: ***BUYER BEWARE*** Just bought my first home, never had homeowners insurance before and was really stressing over it. Explained my situation to Brad, who attempted to bond with me telling me that we were neighbors and he told me I needed a certain policy. Against my better judgement I went ahead and signed up…btw never spoke to Brad again after the initial phone call. After further consulting, the policy that Brad convinced me I needed was NOT what I needed. Called and cancelled my policy and literally still haven’t heard from anyone at this agency concerning my money even though I was assured they would let me know right away…it’s been over two weeks. Btw I did end up getting my money back only cause I cancelled the charge on my CC w/my CC company. If you’re looking for a sleazy insurance agency you’ve came to the right place. Brad, is this how you treat your neighbors, “neighbor”? WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Their team is so kind and welcoming any time we call or stop by for a question. I appreciate the personal touch that you get from this Independent Agency vs. the BIG NAME insurance company we had been with for years.

3 /5 chptrk75: Called to see why my vehicle insurance went up. Talk to an agent and they said they would check other companies to see if they could find something more affordable and call be back. That was a week ago and never heard back. I have never been done this way by them. I have been with them for 31yrs.
