1 /5 Aloe: Stay FAR away from this State Farm office — especially if you ever have to deal with Gary.
I’ve had insurance through State Farm for years without issue — until I moved to Texas and had the absolute misfortune of dealing with this specific office.
When I transferred my auto policy from Missouri, I trusted they would do their job correctly. Instead, they messed up my VIN and insured the wrong car for nearly an entire year — a vehicle I no longer even owned. That means I was unknowingly driving without coverage the whole time due to their negligence.
But the worst part wasn’t the mistake — it was how they handled it when I called to get help.
I spoke with Gary, and I’ve never experienced such disrespect and hostility from a so-called professional. He didn’t apologize. He didn’t try to help. Instead, he yelled at me, told me I was being “crazy and delusional,” and then hung up on me after saying he didn’t want me as a client anymore. Imagine that — your agent screws up your policy, then gaslights you for questioning it.
This office is completely unaccountable, dismissive, and reckless with your coverage — and if you question them, they’ll treat you like you’re the problem. If I hadn’t caught this mistake myself, I could’ve been in a serious accident with zero coverage — all because they couldn’t do a basic policy transfer correctly.
Save yourself the stress and potential legal nightmare. Avoid this office at all costs. Gary should not be in a position where he’s allowed to speak to customers, let alone handle something as important as insurance.
