5 /5 Mayra Perez: I recently had a wonderful experience with Hartley Farmers Agency while obtaining homeowners insurance. They helped me secure a great policy at a much cheaper price than I expected. The entire process was hassle-free—unlike other companies, they didnt bombard me with constant phone calls every day. Most of the communication was conveniently handled through text messages, and the only phone call needed was straightforward and pleasant. Overall, I found the experience to be enjoyable and not overwhelming at all. My agents Name was Tim. I highly recommend Hartley Farmers Agency to anyone looking for reliable and affordable homeowners insurance!

1 /5 Lynne GC: Back in April of 2025, I started shopping around for insurance upon discovery that the insurance for our main residence doubled. This agency was recommended by one of their customers - also a friend of ours. The agent who took care of me was AB or Abdul. Everything was good initially and he found us some good coverage. Communication was good at first when he was trying to acquire our business. We have 3 properties that we were shopping insurance for, we gave him 2. One in particular I addressed with him in detail because its on the market and we were actually warned by our current insurance agent then that switching insurance or agents will not look good with the insurance. We ignored that because AB assured us that everything is fine, that its not going to be an issue. AB saved us about $400 on coverage but what he failed to tell us is what switching with them is going to trigger re-inspection. Now its the same insurance carrier but because were switching agencies, it now posed an inspection in which the inspector was really being anal about it. I have reached out to AB multiple times via email and phone call - he only returned my call once and assured me that he was going to try to work it out. He also advised that we do Quickrete on the driveway which was the issue that inspector was pointing out and the underwriting didnt even take the solution we did. We are now posed with the risk of getting canceled and having to look for an insurance in the middle of a hurricane season and I still have yet to get a follow-up from ABDUL, although another agent from the same agency stepped in and stepped up. But this came without me not following up constantly. I also emailed Josiah Harley with no response. Im willing to update this review once I receive a satisfactory solution from the agency.
