Youll love how his consultations are relaxed conversations... never high-pressure sales or awkward interactions with suit-wearing staff. Youll probably find Dean in a t-shirt and jeans, eager to find out what youre into, what youre looking for, and excited to start sharing ideas with you right out the gate. (After you pet his dog Bean, of course. Shes the sweetest silver lab youll ever meet.)
Pricing is fair and largely based on the current price of metals and whatever stones you choose. Its absolutely possible to get an affordable custom piece. Now, if youre looking for a diamond or specific gemstones, Dean can help source it. Keep in mind, as a custom jeweler, he doesnt keep mass-produced rings in stock or even many gemstones - he custom designs each piece from scratch. And you can depend on him to get you the stones you want! For one of my rings, he ordered several large "rustic" diamonds, and I got to pick which I liked best before he made the ring!
