3 /5 Corpus Christi Fisherman: After 20 years of being a loyal, paid in full customers I actually have a complaint. We never signed up for “accident forgiveness”. Never even thought about it, we are great drivers. After a bumper tap where my wife bumped into a coworker in the parking lot at work, my policy increased $600 a year. There was absolutely no damage to either vehicle. The girl in the other vehicle did choose to go to a chiropractor to be “sure”. Come on, the vehicle was parked, my wife was moving less than 5mph at impact.
Long story short, for $90 worth of chiropractor visits my policy was increased $600 a year and has never gone down.
Is this how y’all treat your valuable customers? I wanted to cancel you guys immediately. My wife close to call our agent who has known us since our teen age years and ask why this was happening.
“This is policy”, “You should have signed for accident forgiveness”, “ stray accident free and your policy price will return to normal”.
All statements I’m never going to forget.
I was a loyal customer. I enjoyed all the perks of using AllState. I am very disappointed in how AllState handled our case. I will end this decade long relationship
