So many 5 star reviews so I was surprised at how dissatisfying the service was. 5 days on the phone back and forth trying to active a policy and then at the end the person never even activated it. We ended up going with another company and was able to get everything done in one phone call.

1 /5 Brandy Soto: Buying a house in the local area and wanted to shop around for home insurance. This company looked great due to all the raving reviews, I was disappointed when I got my quote back. Although the monthly rate was competitive, I was told that I had to pay a significant "down payment" (~$500+) just to start my policy and that this down payment would not be applied to the policy premium. I have never encountered a practice like this having had multiple home and auto insurance providers and it felt sketchy. Given this, we are not going with Bienvenido Insurance, be sure to do your due diligence as you shop for providers.
