So, then I asked what other resources or programs you have if you are getting paid to sit there with staff but no funds for rental assistance. The woman could not provide information on other programs. So, shut it down why stay open and pay a staff to answer phones just to say, Sorry, no help available."
All I know is that if I were in the office, I would allocate funds to the correct programs and not stick it in my pocket. Political power, though. Tamaqua is a mess sidewalks are full of weeds, the street lights are as the borough said it was the company that provided the wrong lights. Garbage, if the state rep or the major cared, then get your garage and recycling contracts back. Make the town look appealing. Having bin for trash and seperate bin for recycling would be a huge improvement to the community but the political party CARES SO MUCH ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT, this shows you its "the power" you have and do nothing. Do something. Where are the funds going?
