Had to have a family heirloom ring of my fiances resized to fit and we also wanted to swap out the gem - every step of the process Zimmer Brothers gave me updates and we met multiple times to make sure everything was exactly what I wanted. I had a vision and they exceeded my expectations! Pricing was very reasonable too for the amazing work and turnaround time. Im so happy we decided to shop local for our jewelry repair and will definitely be going back for any future jewelry needs! Highly recommend to anyone looking for custom work.

Unfortunately the buyer would not see me, and no explanation was offered other than he had no interest in my watch, to which the sales clerk was overly apologetic, a mystifying and completely opaque meeting.

1 /5 Salty Females: Just stopped by Zimmer Brothers Jewelry in Poughkeepsie, NY, and I was honestly baffled by the experience. I brought in a 1/10 oz Gold Eagle (MS-70) and a 1/4 oz Platinum Eagle (MS-70) for appraisal. The lady at the front was very kind and professional, but when she came back with the offer from the guy in the back—hidden away like some mystery appraiser—I couldn’t believe it. They offered $175 for the gold coin, which is low to begin with, and then a shocking $25 for the platinum coin. That’s just insane considering its actual melt value, let alone the grade. The front desk rep was sweet and understanding, but whoever appraised those coins clearly doesn’t know—or care—about real value.
