1 /5 Holly S. Cowley: I have been looking forward to writing this review for YEARS. I have been a customer of Wayne Emmons State Farm in Norwich NY since 2009, my most recent policy being established in 2013. 15 years as a loyal customer of my local agent. First, I’ll say that Amy has always been a pleasure, as has Wayne himself. Two great people that unfortunately work in an office Where Wayne’s son Steve’s behavior far overshadows their excellent service. Over the years I have had the absolute displeasure of dealing with Steve regarding my auto policy. Steve is hands down the worst customer service representative I have ever had to deal with. And to be certain I wasnt being overly sensitive, I had several different people listen in on my calls and they too agreed that he was incredibly rude and condescending. I have called only occasionally to ask about simple things - how much does this discount save me? What will my bill be if i remove this vehicle? And every time I’ve been met with an exaggerated sigh. And an air of total inconvenience. I have often been talked over, talked down to, and generally treated as a bother and not a loyal customer. I recently began shopping around for a new agent after my most recent experience with Steve sent me over the edge. I was even willing to pay MORE for a new policy to simply no longer deal with Steve’s abrasive attitude. I went with Gates Cole in New Berlin. They were fast, polite, and super easy to talk to when I stopped in the office to discuss my quote. They actually saved me HUNDREDS of dollars off my policy which was identical to the policy I had at State farm. Im grateful for their exceptional customer service and the pleasant experience I had dealing with them.

1 /5 Joe Carney: Besides the fact that my policy cost was cut in half switching to Progressive, I was happy to walk away from 2 years of condescending talk from Steve. I explained to Steve that I understood that he has a personality disorder and an anxiety disorder but that doesnt give him the right to speak down to people. I spoke to Steve with love and care and tried to help him through instances where I had questions that gave him anxiety. If you lack patience, this isnt the company to be dealing with.

5 /5 H Yeager: One of my longtime customers was recently visiting friends in Norwich and had a problem with the key fob in their rental vehicle. It wouldnt start the vehicle and they were stuck. The rental car company was no help, and neither was the company who arranged the rental for them. On a whim they called Wayne Emmons State Farm to ask for help. Wayne and a team member picked them up and gave them a ride to a local Chrysler dealership and they replaced the battery in the key fob without charge! It is so refreshing that Wayne provided such Good Neighbor service to my customers in a time of need putting service to others before self. Thank you for the amazing compassion and service Wayne!

1 /5 Paige Wilkinson: After going here to try to solve an issue with my friend, I left pissed!! Steve was by far the worse customer service rep ever!! He was so rude, condescending and got loud with me while I was there. He needs to be let go!!!
