Pauline Liu I had a wonderful experience getting my boat insured with Toedt Insurance. Some friends suggested I look into local brokers because I could get better rates and more hospitality. That was absolutely true! Sherry Toedt took my call and signed me up. She was remarkably patient, professional and helpful. I wasn’t sure what to expect because I called at the end of the day. I thought she might ask me to call back in the morning. Instead, she went right to work processing my coverage. It was a relief to have the coverage. I did notice that Toedt Insurance has many 5-star reviews. Now, I know why.

Semmy Yon I live near King’s Plaza and work all over Brooklyn fixing people’s computers — so my car is everything. I’d let my old auto insurance policy lapse and thought I was totally screwed. Affordable Auto Insurance Experts Inc. didn’t judge me for it. They got me reinstated and back on the road fast. The quote they gave me was surprisingly reasonable. I told them straight up I couldn’t handle a crazy monthly premium, and they actually worked with me instead of pushing expensive extras. They even printed out my proof of insurance on the spot so I could hit the DMV the same day. I left understanding my plan and feeling like I didn’t just get sold. For anyone needing cheap car insurance in Brooklyn that still covers you right — no gimmicks, no shady fees — I’d say go them out. Wish I found them sooner.

Andy Gesner The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. This company is a complete joke. I tried to provide NXG Insurance with my business, but it became clear to me quite quickly that though he had been referred to me, Chris DiTommaso was going to be unable to assist me personally. Instead, he sloughed me off to his co-employee Tanner Davis, and after many days of being ignored by both of them, despite me calling and emailing, I sent an email expressing my concerns. Tanner did call me shortly thereafter to tell me he did not appreciate me "being rude", claiming that it usually takes "a week or two" to receive a Workers Compensation quote (WOW! What a whopper of a lie, I was able to purchase my policy with Geico in less than a hour!). Obviously Chris did not share with Tanner that there was a palpable sense of urgency to have this policy taken care of in a timely fashion. Tanner did promise to get back to me by "the end of the day." The date of that call was Monday, March 17th, 2025. That was over a week and a half ago. I have still not heard back from him and I doubt I will. Obviously "Customer Service" was not something they were trained to provide.

Shane Cadwell These guys are honestly wonderful. Very thoughtful and helpful. Gavin has been more than thorough and insightful in finding me different ways to save on my car insurance. I highly recommend this group of professionals for anyone looking for a quote.

It was my first time going through this process and first time working with State Farm - Jay explained everything and made sure we understood our policy and had everything we needed. The process was quick and simple, it was a pleasure working with him- I would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Wantauhjs Weathers Dominique Harvey was definitely a pleasure to deal with. She was fast, patient and very polite to deal with and helped me find the best policy for me. I have no regrets dealing with her and i thank her greatly for her time and efforts.

Melissa Schulz Ive owned multiple properties and have worked with many different insurance companies over the past 15+ years. Ed Henke is by far the best at what he does. And his entire team is amazing too. They are all very knowledgeable, responsive, patient (with my many questions), and friendly. We now have multiple policies through them including car insurance. (They were able to get us a better policy and save us money!) Honestly, five starts is not enough.
