5 /5 John Brozowski: My daughter attends school here and has had a great experience. The campus is beautiful and the school is constantly improving the facilities. The administration is very proactive and for a small college I’m impressed with how much they do for the students. Campus life is welcoming and they offer many things to do outside of the classroom. Winter can be tough with winds off the lake but school is not in session during the worst part of winter. Fall and spring are nice and summer is beautiful. The town is small but they had recently been awarded a huge amount of money by the state and the results are stunning, they have really done a great job improving the downtown and port area and are currently working on a new marina.

5 /5 Lucille Doherty: Everything went smoothly. We had the access card and was able to move into our dorm abt 3am whivh saved our family alot of time the following day because we were able to make up for lost time due to the rain during our travel.

5 /5 Terese Riggall: Drove north, a little over an hour, to SUNY Oswego to enjoy the day and the performance of SQUONK! They did not disappoint! Interesting and wonderful musical journey; a crowd pleaser and encouraged crowd interaction of all ages. It was a fun time! Will go again to spend more time in Oswego!

5 /5 Jewel Poudyal: During my full fall semester at SUNY Oswego, I had an enriching and multifaceted academic experience. I enrolled in courses such as Intro to Global Studies, Foundations of Sustainability, 20th Century World, Cultural Anthropology, and participated in the College Community Orchestra. These classes offered a comprehensive understanding of global issues, environmental sustainability, historical contexts, and cultural dynamics, while the orchestra provided a creative outlet and a sense of community. The faculty’s commitment to personalized mentorship and immersive, hands-on education greatly enhanced my learning experience. Beyond academics, SUNY Oswego’s vibrant campus life and supportive community stood out. The university offers over 200 clubs and organizations, fostering an environment where students from diverse backgrounds can connect and grow. I joined around four or five clubs during my time there, and one of my favorite activities was ice skating—it was not only fun but also a great way to bond with others and enjoy the beautiful winter season. The picturesque lakeside campus provided stunning views and an inspiring setting for personal and academic development. Additionally, SUNY Oswego’s emphasis on affordability ensures that students can pursue a world-class education without excessive financial burden. Overall, my time at SUNY Oswego was intellectually stimulating and personally fulfilling, offering a well-rounded college experience.

4 /5 Ann McAllister: Beautiful setting on Lake Ontario. Seemingly laid back atmosphere, small student-teacher ratio, high tech, great amenities like a stone fireplaces in the dorm lobbies. Modern and contemporary architecture.
