1 /5 Craig Rung: Beware of what they promise and what they deliver. Mike Marlowe convinced my parents, 81 and 83, that they needed life insurance. He set up a $150,000 Whole Life plan, took $60,000 from my parents and said this covers the premiums. Now we are getting lapse notices that we owe several thousand $ in premiums to keep the policy active. Phone calls to Northeastern and JohnHancock insurance go unanswered and we have no idea what is going on. Who sells Whole Life insurance to people 81 and 83 with premiums payable to age 121!!! Thats what the policy says. Stay away from the company, do you research and run the other way!!! They lie, ignore requests for information and are willing to collect commissions but refuse to service the customer. We are out over $ 80,000 and have no life insurance and my mom has no money to live on.

John Hancock referred us to Agent Leonard Picone with Northeastern Financial Partners, LLC (hereafter referred to as NFP). Mr. Picone came to our home and we straightened out the policy issue and discussed other financial matters, particularly our future plans for our retirement and school for our grandchildren. Since that time, which was about 11 years or so ago, we have come to rely on Mr. Picone and NFP for our retirement income plan, insurance policies and other financial interests. We have been completely satisfied with NFPs work and advice and would recommend them to anyone else who is trying to obtain piece of mind for retirement in this uncertain world.
