1 /5 T T: This bank is allowing my violent ex, Matt Mendrala, to continuously make claims that he never spent money that he did & they credit him for it. He went to the strip club last year & spent ~$4k, his POA told M&T bank that he didnt spend that at the club so they gave him his money back. He used his M&T bank account while we were together to pay on my Capital One credit card, I would give him cash for his M&T then he would use his M&T to pay for my Capital One statements, now that I am broken up with him & have a domestic violence injunction against him, he is calling M&T to refund him OVER $500...MONTHS after we were using his M&T account to pay on my Capital One card. So now M&T refuses to even acknowledge or act like they understand the situation, that they are just giving Mr. Mendrala free money left & right, not investigating the claims that hes making. If you want free money handed to you, just open an account with M&T bank, spend all your money & then claim you werent the one spending it! Theyre allowing my abuser to continue financially abusing me almost 6 whole months after I left him, its the end of December & all of the payments they are stealing back are from the first half of 2023. I was also in New City, New York with my abuser earlier this year when he was trying to claim that his POA was "stealing" $60k from him & he was demanding the bank credit him or criminally charge her. Hes a maniac, so are the tellers at this bank for allowing it all continuously & my lawyer will be in contact with M&T
