1 /5 Babe Ama: Nice building but horrible people who show no care at all. When you call, no one other than the operator picks up and transfers you to a voicemail everytime with no one ever returning your call. Its ridiculous that these workers treat human being like this. They dont work with their own set timelines. When they are to make their decisions within one month, nearly a month and half you hear nothing and no one shows responsibility or offer an apology for violating their own rules. Meanwhile you are there, you see the workers walking around and chit chatting doing nothing and they complain that they are running behind because they are too busy to complete their work in their own set timeframe. Show some responsibility and sensitivity to the people you serve!!That is what you are paid for. If you are going here, be prepared to deal with some disrespect, meanness and annoyances!

5 /5 joshhill212: Pretty great Department Of Social Security. Never any long lines, & am always seen the same day for walk-ins. The Social Workers are always kind & helpful. These people have helped me through some very hard times more than they could ever know. I very much appreciate them. However, sometimes they do fail to call back the same day, when they say they will. Although, that is an issue with every institution where I am told I will receive a call back. At least with Madison County DSS, most of the time if I dont get a call back the same day, I do still receive a call back the following day (Which Is Still Far Better Than Most).

1 /5 Kelly Tornatore: Madison County CPS will try and manipulate your words and twist them into a whole different statement. DO NOT let them violate your rights, CPS cannot come into your home or question your child without your consent, say as little as possible and try to record every visit, conversation, and keep all dates, times, and records of when CPS had been called and come to your home.

1 /5 Cameron Spink: When you call they don’t answer, they are literally at the desk and watching your call come in but would rather let it go to voicemail, then call you back when it’s convenient for them. I called to inquire regarding the status of my heap application several times, each time I get “oh it will be applied to next month” “oh it will be applied to next month” “oh it will be applied to next month”. I asked if I could get some sort of documentation of the amount in which I was approved for (I should have already received it at this point) finally received documents saying I was approved after 45 days. Still haven’t seen it on my National grid bill they just keep putting me off each time I call. Not really good customer service. I know they can do better I mean a simple phone call and some honesty could go a long way.
