He was upfront and to the point in how we were to proceed with my case, but was also very willing to listen to my concerns and always took the time to answer all of my questions. I always felt comfortable voicing my opinion and knowing that he genuinely heard me and took into consideration my thoughts. Nick consulted with me on every matter that arose to make sure we were always on the same page. 5 /5 david collis: I retained Nick Macri over twenty years ago and again this year, both times for family court matters. I did not come out on top in either case, but I would not hire another lawyer. Nick is a straight shooter that truly cares about people and from my own personal experience, values his integrity and the truth over the almighty dollar. I believe that most lawyers tell you what you want to hear so they can wring the most money out of your case. Nicholas Macri is definitely not that guy.

1 /5 Dave Duskee: After closing several hundred real estate transactions since 2012, this is the only law office I’ve dealt with that failed to compensate our company correctly — and in a timely manner — despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue. We sent the required commission documentation on April 8th for a June 3rd closing. We were then asked to resend it twice after the closing (on June 12th and 13th), only to be told the problem was with the other real estate office. That was simply not true — the documentation was clear and accurate from the beginning. Working with Kit and Tiffany was incredibly frustrating. Kit was unprofessional, combative, and unable to handle a simple calculation or take accountability. Tiffany was rude and dismissive on the phone, talking over us instead of listening to the facts. Neither made any effort to resolve the issue collaboratively, even when provided with documentation and proof. While I didn’t work with Nick directly, the conduct of his staff reflects poorly on the entire firm. If you’re considering legal representation in Herkimer, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere — even if that means going to Utica, Syracuse, Rochester, or Albany. The lack of professionalism here is not worth the risk.
