5 /5 Jim Burns: We moved to the area from L.I. 2 mos ago to be near daughter, SIL and g’kids. Recd insurance from our prior company UNTIL, they did a drive by inspection and saw a jungle gym in the yard. We were told to remove it by Feb 18th or coverage would be voided. Among other concerns, grandkids love the gym, stressed to say the least. This morning, I popped into the Peter Schmidt Agency unannounced and was greeted by Peter. After speaking for about 30 minutes, I walked out with a policy covering all – including the gym, with broader coverage and at a significantly lower premium than my prior. I’ve been a homeowner for over 35 yrs and understand homeowner’s insurance. I’ve never had nearly the positive experience as I had today. If there’s ever a need for property insurance, do yourself a huge favor, pop in and speak with Peter or Ray. I promise you; I met them today.
