Mel Solomon Burchell agency recently took over the Nationwide office in Ithaca after Stan Barlow retired. I am just getting to know the agents in the office. Recently without me contacting them, Nikki called me and said there may be new ratings that Nationwide has introduced for auto insurance and would I mind if she re-did a quote for me. In a few days I got a call from her saying that my premium would go down over $200 for 6 months. Could I use the $200? You bet! What agent would call a customer to voluntarily reduce pricing? I live in Syracuse and was pleased to find that their offices were within five miles of my home. I have dealt with Jackie, Tina Holgate, and Paul Holgate. They are all friendly, welcoming, and provide exemplary customer service. Paul and Tina handle Medicare enrollment and all things Medicare. I’m almost 65 and knew very little about enrolling, but Paul is extremely knowledgeable. In about two hours, I was enrolled in what I felt was the best plan for my needs. Paul made it easy!
