2 /5 Antonio Michaels: DFCU has basically become a bank. Their fees are higher than most banks, and their technology is way out of date. If you have to get an account here, at the very least, do not get a credit card through them.

1 /5 Heavenly Breeze: Hello Everyone, I have praised DFCU for several years for their seamless process when it comes to auto loans and the quickness of receiving the loan. I’ve had two auto loans through them previously and the process went so well. I haven’t gotten a new vehicle since 2016 so recently I have been searching for a new car and of course decided to get an auto loan through DFCU. The process has become like every other bank or credit union I cannot harp on my frustrations enough. I was asked to provide the MSRP of the vehicle so I received the information and was told “well we just can’t take your word for it send it to our email address” which the previous employee I spoke to never stated I had to do. So I sent it and informed her- she then says well it will take about an hour for another department to review it. I proceeded to ask if anyone would call me back or if I’d receive an email notification and she says “No” smugly. I cannot express my frustrations enough - the others I have worked with have been kind but this process has been long and unorganized. I have a credit score well over 800 and I’m considering taking my business elsewhere.

1 /5 Leonardo Hernandez: Had a low balance on my account and a bill was due soon so I deposit my money. Even though the bill was pending and I had enough money, they still charged me an overdraft fee. I explained this to two of their employees and didnt seem to care. I am closing all my accounts and doing business somewhere else.

1 /5 Noel Leon: I’ve never written a review like this before, but what happened today was beyond ridiculous. I briefly parked my car with just two feet extending into DFCU’s driveway (no traffic block, no harm done), and they called the police on me. Let me be clear: There was no confrontation, no warning, no request to move the vehicle—just an over-the-top, aggressive response that caused a panic attack for my mother when officers arrived. This was not only completely unnecessary, but also deeply unprofessional and hostile. I would expect a financial institution to act with basic courtesy and communication, not escalate minor issues like this into traumatic events. If this is how DFCU treats people in their community, I wouldn’t trust them with a dime of my money.

5 /5 Catherine Biondi: When my credit card account was hacked, DFCU contacted me by phone and email. When I connected with them, the representative was very professional, explaining what had happened and what could be done about it. Long story short, my account was closed and I received a new card in the mail within three days. I’ve been a DFCU customer for over 30 years, and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences in all that time. These people are a 10 out of 10.
