Shyla Coleman Michigan 1st was an awesome credit union when I was a member. Lately I had been considering reopening my accts there. Only issues I have are the locations are not really convenient and the way the ATMs are setup is beyond unsafe....That was my primary reason for closing my acct. I dont think that the person (s) who designed the drive up ATM thought about the safety aspect of having both machines on a wall where you have to wait for the person in front of you to finish their transaction even when youre done. That is a setup if you ask me. If someone pulls behind you, youre stuck.

barbara evanoff Upon the death of my Dad, his accounts were distributed according to his wishes. When my account was set up, with NO ATM card. My then husband checked my mail, found a Debit Card, set it up, And withdrew $4,500!! The account manager called and asked about the withdrawals, and I reminded her, that theres no ATM card! She reviewed my original application and agreed. No ATM and was to have started an investigation. Nothing was done,its been 17 years. No investigation, but Ive been told during the first 3 years that Raymond and James Corporate was going to start it. Their fees are outrageous! Ive not spoken to an agent within the last couple of years...

Raymond Womack Ive been a member of DFCU since before the 1980s. With that being said I Love ❤️ my Credit Union and its staff at many of the various locations. It is right up there as one of the best Financial Institutions for my money. I have never had a bad experience with the staff, their financial services or the statements reporting activity. Love the latest location on Cass Ave.
