Ginny In all transparency, this is a very early review, but it feels justified. Bradford has been a complete pleasure to work with. As a young investor with a smaller amount of assets to offer to manage, I didn’t expect nearly the attention he’s given me, or the time he’s been willing to spend with me to help me learn. Aside from his 15+ years in the field, the firm’s principals are CPA’s with combined 50+ years tax/finance experience. As a CPA myself, I can vouch for the value of the combination of finance and tax knowledge the firm offers. I would highly recommend working with Bradford, or likely anyone at the firm.

Gerry Scott One of tellers, Kayla Phillips, at the main branch on Michigan Ave has completely changed the atmosphere there from what I would call stodgy to one of friendliness. This has made a significant difference in the interplay between customers and clients. She is always smiling and is very sharp. She keeps tabs on my account and will notify me with concerns or balance issue. She I believe has made a positive impact on the other tellers, Laurie and Terry. The branch manager Amy also is first class. I have been a member for many years and having gone through the recent loss of my wife Peggy Scott I cant express how refreshing it is to come to the Michigan Ave branch to be greeted by name when I walk in and view smiling happy faces. Joel Duncan Under new ownership and causing many issues. Short version of the story: All FY21 tax documents were submitted by the firms required deadline - well over a month before the tax due date. The firm routinely over sold their abilities to handle the workload. The day before the tax due date they finally submitted an extension - after me requesting multiple times. After the delay / extension / poor customer experience - I drove 30 miles north to collect my documents. Two months later the IRS sends me a $1,300 bill for improperly filed tax extensions - they simply put zero on all amounts owed - so interest + penalty had to be paid - After contacting the firm about this bill, they refused to pay (because I took my business elsewhere) - I have in writing from the owner not to worry about any fees prior as the extensions were being filed (this was very well documented due to my concerns) - the IRS has waived the fee after reviewing this saga I am never one to bash a company for a single bad experience. This was a catastrophe of epic proportions. They are so unorganized. As of writing this - their google address is still not updated (~3 months after moving). I would highly encourage anyone considering this company to perform proper due diligence first.

scott nihart I just used Jameel for the second time since moving to the Lansing area. For both of the closings we were in a bit of a time crunch and Jameel delivered each time. I did shop around on both occasions and his rate and origination fees were always the best. He was quick to get back to me via email and I even received quick responses on the weekends. At both of the closings even the sellers agents commented on how impressed they were with how quickly he was able to get the loan processed.
