After my father passed away, I had some money to invest, primarily, to use for my grandchildrens education down the road. I turned to Tom for this task. My charge to him was to treat this money as if it were his grandmothers. He has done just that. Besides doing extremely well with my investment, he has become a confidential adviser and friend to us on many things ex:buy or lease a car, how to help and support my sister who was in financial stress, pay off a car loan or keep making payments, do we need long term-care, and most of all, a calming voice during great stress while we settled 3 messy estates. During that particular time he called us often just because he was concerned. He still calls to check on us and catch up which we really appreciate.
