James Langlois: Allstate Insurance - Houma

Brian Comeaux I never had an insurance agent get back to me as quick as Mr. Langlois and staff. I have questions, I will get an answer. I dont have to have insurance policies on my cars with the company and agent and policy on my home with some little fly by night insurance company I never heard of. This was my experience with my prior insurance agent. You will not get treated like that with Mr. Langlois and staff. And am very satisfied. Would definitely recommend.

Progressive Insurance - Claims Office - Metairie

Kurtis Turman Update: I previously posted a pretty bad review on Progressive stemming from an issue I had with them IRT replacing my windshield & sunroof. They both had to be replaced because of a small crack that started inside of the window. Long story short they originally refused to purchase the glass for the sunroof because they said they could get it from Safelite for 700 bucks cheaper than Tesla which would have left me eating that part of the bill. They did make this right by paying for the glass and also by returning 500 of my deductible. I was actually satisfied with their resolution but now the things I weren’t satisfied with: They put this on my car report as an accident which is going to ruin the value of my car and mess me up with shopping around for other insurance. It wasn’t an accident, in fact, it was a replacement of a windshield that had replaced about a year prior from guys who: Safelite. Second thing is just the inconvenience. The way they operate I ended up being without a car for a day because they didn’t pay their part I missed out on being able to pick up the vehicle in a timely manner. Then I was talking to a guy that couldn’t make a decision to take care of me even though he knew that what was going through wasn’t right. BLUF: I will be looking for another insurance provider. I’m a firm believer that conducting square business is the most important part of our economy. If you provide a service you should not try and weasel your way out of it and I felt that Progressive in this instance was trying everything they could to not uphold their end of the agreement and this is no different to me than predatory lenders.

Freeway Insurance - Chalmette

Sunshine Martinez I made my insurance payment over the weekend 6/20/25, but the payment didnt show up in the system. I called Freeway and spoke with several people but all they could tell me was that they didnt see the payment. I received a text stating that my insurance was canceled so I panicked and went into a local office. I explained my situation to Jen and she immediately gave me peace of mind saying that the company was aware of the situation. She told me to email her my proof of payment and she will take care of everything and contact me when everything is fixed. She did just that ! She emailed me later in the day to let me know that she submitted the ticket, and she contacted me this morning to confirm that everything was correct and I indeed have car insurance. The thing that pleased me was that she told me what she was going to do and kept her promise. Give Jen a raise she deserves it good customer service should be rewarded!
